The event led the celebrations commemorating not only the inspirational story of India's freedom struggle but also organized an engaging event for all participants from Jio Institute to create a unique experience for everyone present at the celebrations.

A captivating Human Library session was organized, where participants had the opportunity to engage with a diverse array of "human books" covering a wide range of topics.

Jio Institute students were taken for an industry visit to the petrochemical plant at Patalganga, Raigarh on the outskirts of Navi Mumbai to understand the functioning of the several key infrastructures associated with RIL. 

The event, held on July 20, 2023, saw participants engaged in friendly matches, forging connections, and discovering their inner grandmasters. 

The Quiz titled; Unravelling the Charms of Monsoon in Maharashtra, was carefully crafted with multiple-choice questions and provided participants with a unique opportunity to showcase their knowledge about Maharashtra's picturesque locations, extraordinary experiences, delectable cuisine, and much more. It aimed to educate, engage, and entertain participants, igniting their curiosity and sense of adventure for Maharashtra's monsoon wonders.

On the fifth day of the orientation week at Jio Institute, students engaged in a full-day Math Boot Camp, which was designed to provide them with a refresher on basic mathematical concepts. Mathematics forms an integral part of various disciplines, and a strong foundation and solid understanding of fundamental mathematical concepts are crucial for academic success.

Day 6 was filled with significant sessions and exciting cultural activities, keeping the energy high and spirits soaring.

On July 6th, 2023, Jio Institute organized a special inaugural session to mark the beginning of the academic year for the batch of '24 comprising students enrolled in the three postgraduate programmes in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Digital Media & Marketing Communications and Sports Management.
