The ECIS Middle Leader Certificate Programme has been designed exclusively for school leaders in India. Building on the success of the previous two programmes, it offers in-depth training on AI and Digital Fluency and Leading Curriculum Design for Instructional Excellence for K-12 schools.
Delivered by expert facilitators with extensive experience in international education, the programme offers an unparalleled opportunity to optimise leadership potential, empower teams, and elevate educational impact.
Participants will engage in two globally-recognised ECIS Middle Leader Certificate courses, designed to provide practical strategies and research-driven insights to support middle leaders in driving meaningful and sustainable change within their schools.

Programme Synopsis
Course 1: AI and Digital Fluency
This course builds the essential knowledge and confidence for middle leaders to lead effectively in a technology-driven world. It provides the tools to leverage AI, focusing on ethics and responsible innovation, to foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning within their organisations. Key areas covered include:
- Exploring how AI transforms leadership and learning, including its ethical and educational implications
- Evaluating and applying AI tools to improve decision-making and collaboration, using AI-driven insights to inform strategy
- Applying digital tools with confidence while modelling ethical and responsible AI use
- Fostering the agency and adaptability needed to lead digital innovation and inspire positive change
Course 2: Leading Curriculum Design for Instructional Excellence
Effective curriculum design, which translates key research into evidence-based practice, fosters an environment of continuous learning and professional growth for both individuals and teams. This workshop provides middle leaders with the tools to design, evaluate, and lead sustainable curriculum initiatives that align with school mission, ensuring coherence, inclusivity, and high levels of student achievement. Key areas covered include:
- Deepening understanding of evidence-based curriculum design principles, including Understanding by Design (UbD)
- Developing strategies to create a mission-aligned culture of curriculum review and continuous improvement
- Strengthening the ability to design, adapt, and evaluate curriculum for rigour, relevance, and inclusion
- Building leadership capacity to guide professional learning and collaborative instructional teams
