Jio Institute Students Embark on Internship Opportunities

At Jio Institute, education transcends traditional boundaries, The institute's philosophy seamlessly integrates classroom learning with real-world experiences, creating an energetic environment for academic excellence.

Throughout the academic year, the students are given significant exposure to industry and real world projects. The term began with a series of lectures from esteemed faculty, both national and international, offering students a diverse and enriching perspective on their chosen fields. To enhance practical skills, students were assigned real-world projects, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and hands-on application. This approach ensures that students not only grasp concepts but also develop the critical skills needed in the professional landscape.
A unique study abroad module is embedded in the course curriculum and every student is a part of this enriching experience. This batch visited the Nanyang Technological University where they undertook some study modules, industry immersions and a cultural immersion. This journey provided them with a global perspective on their subjects, expanding their horizons.

Now, transitioning seamlessly, students have entered the next phase of their academic journey – a 7-week internship program. This industry-focused experience aims to provide students with first-hand exposure to real-world business challenges, enabling them to apply their knowledge in a professional setting.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science students are gaining hands-on experience at AICOE, E.I.Study, Genesys International, Prism Johnson Limited, and Reliance Retail (Fynd). 

Digital Media and Marketing Communications students secured internships at Bold Care, Reliance Brands Limited, MBATrek, Reliance Retail (Tira Beauty), Meraki Sport & Entertainment, Reliance Jio, CherryPeachPlum Growth Partner, Pidilite, Prism Johnson Limited, Larsen & Toubro Metro, Jio Ads, and others. 

Sports Management students are interning at organizations like Sports for All, RISE WORLDWIDE, Sports 18, Engage Digital Partners, PwC India, Andhra Cricket Association, Puneri Paltan, Sports Interactive, RFYS, Meraki Sport & Entertainment.

These internship programmes will enable our students to get a glimpse of the professional world, that they will be stepping into soon. It will also give them an understanding what the roles, they are choosing, will entail. At Jio Institute, the endeavour is to get our students industry ready so that they can hit the road running and contribute to the organisations they join effectively.
