Jio-bp collaborated with Jio Institute to organize an Executive Education Program on Business Analytics in July-August 2023. Nearly 81 managers from Jio-bp across India participated in the month-long program, delivered by Dr. Sharad Borle, Professor at Rice University, Houston, Texas. The program focused on analyzing large datasets to extract valuable business insights and gain a competitive advantage. This collaborative effort between Jio Institute and Jio-bp aimed to enhance the analytical skills of professionals in the fuel and mobility industry, reflecting a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.

Programme Overview

The Executive Education Programme on Business Analytics, a collaborative initiative between Jio Institute and Jio-bp, aimed to refresh participants' knowledge and skills in applying business analytics techniques to real-world problems. The program was attended by managers holding diverse designations, including Business Development Manager, Sales & Operations Manager, Manager Mobile Fuelling, Network Planning Manager, Trans connect Manager, EV Mobility Manager, EPC Team Manager, and Business Development Manager.

The primary focus of this program was on demonstrating how data analysis could be effectively employed to interpret and predict trends within the business landscape of Jio-bp, contributing to a comprehensive and practical learning experience. 

Dr. Sharad Borle, Rice University, in the month-long program covered diverse topics, including basic data manipulation, advanced data analysis functions, and essential business statistics skills tailored to participants' specific roles in Jio-bp. A distinctive feature of the program was the utilization of actual data from participants' day-to-day work, enhancing its interest and relevance. 
The program was conducted online on Zoom on 19th July, 26th July, 2nd August & 9th August 2023. Each session lasted for 2 hours.

Learning Outcomes

The Executive Education Program on Business Analytics conducted by Jio Institute for Jio-bp managers yielded significant learning outcomes. The program successfully combined academic expertise, practical applications, and a tailored curriculum to deliver a comprehensive learning experience for the participants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.

The unique feature of using actual data from participants' day-to-day work enhanced the program's interest and relevance. This hands-on approach allowed the 81 managers from across India to directly apply data analysis techniques to interpret and predict trends in the business of Jio-bp.
