PG Programmes Eligibility
- PGP in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science
- A four-year undergraduate degree or its equivalent, in the field of Engineering/Science/ Mathematics and Statistics with minimum 50 per cent or equivalent CGPA. A postgraduate degree (if the undergraduate degree is of three years) in the field of Engineering/Science/Mathematics and Statistics with minimum 50 per cent or equivalent CGPA.
- A strong foundation in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science along with programming experience.
- A valid GRE/GMAT/GATE /CAT score or appear for Jio Institute Entrance Test (JET)
- Preference shall be given to candidates with relevant work experience.
- PGP in Management
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent or equivalent CGPA

Jio Institute believes that all deserving candidates should have the opportunity to fulfil their higher education aspirations irrespective of their financial constraints.
The Institute offers scholarships of up to 100% on tuition fees to deserving candidates. Scholarships are awarded based on the review of individual needs as well as Jio Institute’s commitment to access and diversity.
A significant number of scholarships will be available for:

- Specially-abled candidates, etc.
- Cancellation and Refunds
1. Application fee is non-refundable.
2. Admission fee and applicable taxes are non-refundable.
3. First instalment (with taxes) will be refunded completely if such a request is received on or before April 1, 2026.
4. Second instalment (with taxes) is non-refundable.
5. In case of extenuating circumstances, deductions may be waived by the competent authorities on compassionate grounds.- One Time Charges/Deposits

*Other charges include IT Services, On-Campus Medical services, Sport Facilities, Electricity charges, Gymnasium and other facilities provided to students.
*Students will also travel overseas for a Study Abroad Module of two weeks duration, for this purpose Jio Institute will cover the major expenses. Students partially contribute to it with an amount of Rs.150,000 specified in the fee above and will have to arrange for their dinner during the visit.

- Is work experience mandatory?
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience; however, freshers are also welcome to apply.
- I graduated 1 year back but not working since. Am I eligible to apply?
Yes, you can apply, as we follow a holistic evaluation process. Work experience will enable you to better understand the application of knowledge, tools and concepts.
- Will working for my father's business count as work experience?
Working in family business/your own start-up can be considered if you can demonstrate that you have gained relevant work experience that enables you to better understand the application of knowledge, tools and concepts taught during an academic programme. We encourage you to apply and seek guidance from an admissions counsellor to gain further insight.
- I have 8-10 years of work experience. Can I apply? What is the average age group of the batch?
Candidates with higher experience are welcome to apply. The average age of the current (2025-26) batch is 25 years.
- When will the academic sessions commence? Will it take place online or on campus?
Our academic sessions will commence in April 2026. All our postgraduate programmes are one-year full-time residential programmes.
- I have not appeared for any entrance exam. Am I eligible to apply?
You are required to submit a valid GRE/GMAT/GATE/CAT score or appear for Jio Institute Entrance Test (JET) as per the requirement of the programme you are applying for.
- I have scored 49 per cent in my graduation. Can I apply?
As per the eligibility criteria, you require a score of at least 50% or equivalent CGPA in graduation to be eligible.
- I have a valid GRE/GMAT/CAT/GATE score. Am I eligible to apply?
Yes, candidates with valid GRE, GMAT, CAT, or GATE scores are eligible to apply (based on the programme's requirement).
We also encourage you to take the Jio Institute Entrance Test — we will consider the better score, which strengthens your application.
- What is your cut off?
There is no strict cut-off for selection — we take a holistic view of your entire profile. However, a higher test score can certainly enhance your chances. All the best!
- I wanted to visit the campus before applying. When can I come? What is the procedure?

- I am not able to upload my documents. Can I email the documents to be uploaded?
It is recommended that you upload all documents through the application portal. In case of any issues, you may reach out to us at admissions@jioinstitute.edu.in or call us at 1800 889 1100. You can also raise a ticket on the Admissions portal.
- Is there any advantage of submitting the application early?
Yes, In Round 1, all seats are open, so your chances of selection are higher. If you are working, early application gives you enough time to serve your notice period smoothly.
- What if my student visa for India gets rejected. Will the admission fees be refunded?

Scholarships & Financial Aid
- Are Scholarships available? How can I apply for Scholarships?
You can apply for scholarship while filling up application form. Jio Institute believes that all deserving candidates should have an opportunity to fulfil their higher education aspirations irrespective of their financial constraints. As a part of Jio Institute’s commitment to access and diversity, Jio Institute offers merit-based and need-based scholarships, supporting students from various disciplines and backgrounds.
- What percentage of scholarship can I get?
Scholarships can cover a part or the tuition fee. The decision regarding grant and percentage of scholarship is at the discretion of the Admissions Committee and will be communicated along with the provisional admission offer letter.
- I want to apply for loan. Do you have any tie-ups?

- Can you connect me with the concerned person for loan? Can my father or guardian apply for loan on my behalf?
