Call for Young Scientist
About the Forum
The Intelligent Data Engineering and AI (IDEA) 2026 conference invites applications for the IDEA 2026 Young Scientists, recognizing outstanding early-career researchers and practitioners for innovative contributions and high-impact potential in intelligent data engineering and artificial intelligence.
The forum highlights promising ideas, emerging research directions, and early-stage contributions that advance the state of the art or open new avenues for research and practice.
Eligibility
The forum is open to doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, early-career faculty members, and early-career industry professionals actively engaged in research or development aligned with the scope of IDEA 2026.
A minimum requirement of three publications in A / A* conferences, A / A* ABCD journals, or top-1% journals is required.
Topics of Interest
Submissions should align broadly with the themes of IDEA 2026, including but not limited to:
- Intelligent data engineering and scalable systems
- Machine learning, deep learning, and generative models
- Computer vision, natural language processing, and multimodal AI
- Ethical, fair, and responsible artificial intelligence
- AI applications and emerging research directions
Interdisciplinary submissions are encouraged.
Review and Evaluation
Applications must be submitted through the IDEA 2026 Young Scientist forum nomination form. Complete submission instructions will be provided on the conference website.
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Originality and significance of the contribution
- Technical depth appropriate to the applicant’s career stage
- Potential impact on research, practice, or society
- Relevance to the scope and themes of IDEA 2026
Recognition
Recipients of the IDEA 2026 Young Scientist forum will receive formal recognition during the conference and will be invited to present their work in a dedicated award session.
