Intelligent Data Engineering and AI 2026 (IDEA 2026)  is a international forum that brings together researchers, academicians, industry leaders, policymakers, and advanced practitioners to explore the foundations, systems, and societal implications of artificial intelligence and data engineering. Paper Submission & Review

 

Submission Guidelines

Submissions for the main conference must be made online through CMT (submission link will be opening on April 01, 2026).

A complete paper should be submitted in Springer LNCS format for review purposes. For further details, please follow the authors’ instructions available at http://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines . The submitted manuscript should conform to the length intended for final publication.

Papers accepted for the conference will be allocated 12 pages in the proceedings (including references), with the option of purchasing up to 2 additional pages. The cost for extra pages is INR 1500 per page (within India) or USD 100 per page (outside India), with a maximum limit of 16 pages.

Authors who are unwilling or unable to pay the extra charge should restrict their submissions to 12 pages. All paper submissions will be handled electronically through the online submission system.

Plagiarism Policy

The single-source similarity score for a manuscript must not exceed 2%, and the overall similarity score must be within 10%.

Review Process

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each manuscript will be reviewed by three reviewers, including at least two independent reviewers from the Technical Program Committee and the reviewer pool.

Papers requiring clarification or improvement may undergo a revision phase, followed by a secondary evaluation. Final acceptance decisions will be based on technical quality, originality, relevance to the conference themes, and clarity of presentation.

Expected Acceptance Rate

The expected acceptance rate for IDEA 2026 is approximately 25–30%, ensuring a selective and high-quality technical program.

Publication & Proceedings

Only full-length papers, submitted via the official CMT submission system and accepted and presented following peer review, will be considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings. The proceedings are planned for publication with Springer, subject to final approval, and will feature high-quality research across theory, systems, applications, and responsible AI.

Getting to the Conference

IDEA 2026 will be held at Jio Institute, Ulwe, Sector 5, Navi Mumbai, India. The venue is conveniently accessible via multiple transportation options. The Navi Mumbai International Airport (opened in 2025) is located approximately 20 minutes from the campus. Until then, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai serves as the primary airport, about 50 km away, with a typical travel time of 60–90 minutes depending on traffic.

Public transportation includes the Mumbai suburban railway (nearest station: Bamandongri – Harbour Line) and the upcoming Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1. App-based taxi services, local transport, and private vehicles are readily available. The campus is accessible via Palm Beach Road and the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, with adequate parking facilities on-site.

Visa Information

International participants may require a visa to enter India. Most attendees should apply for a Conference Visa or a Business Visa (for industry participants). Please consult the official Indian government visa portal or the nearest Indian embassy for country-specific requirements.

Upon successful registration, official invitation letters can be issued to support visa applications. Participants are strongly advised to initiate the visa process at least 8–10 weeks prior to the conference.
