Anshuman Gupta (PhD) is a data science leader with over 20 years of experience spanning both academia and industry across multiple geographies.
At MiQ, as Vice President - Data Science, his mandate is to build analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence driven products and solutions that help MiQ’s clients address various mission-critical use cases in the programmatic advertising and marketing intelligence space. He is also responsible for driving innovation and best practices across these teams while creating business value for MiQ’s customers. 
Under his leadership, MiQ has been recognised as the Best Place for Data Scientists to work two years in a row (2020, 2021) by Analytics India Magazine. In addition, one of MiQ’s product offerings (Predict – now a part of the PerformanceAI solution) has also been recognised as one of the Best Data Science products built in India. Anshuman has also been recognized as one of the 50 most influential AI leaders in India in 2021.
Prior to joining MiQ, in his role as Director Data Science at Pitney Bowes he was responsible for creating a horizontal data science and AI/ML practice by delivering on the People, Process, Platform and Products mandate for the organization. Some of the key business use cases that have been the focus of his work include marketing & customer intelligence, supply chain optimization, geospatial & retail analytics. Anshuman has also led and operationally managed teams of high calibre data scientists at Cognizant where the team grew exponentially both in terms of headcount as well as business impact. He was also responsible for designing and developing cutting edge non-linear, IP based solutions leveraging cognitive computing, AI/ML, NLP/text mining and big data technologies.  
Anshuman graduated with a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay, Mumbai and has a dual PhD in Chemical Engineering & Operations Research from Penn State, USA.
