Prof. Atanu Ghosh is a distinguished scholar with significant contributions in the fields of business and corporate strategy, innovation, and the management of strategic alliances. His illustrious career encompasses both the academic and corporate worlds, making him a prominent figure in management education and strategic leadership.
Prof Atanu Ghosh holds a distinguished academic record, including a B.Sc. Tech in Textile Technology from Calcutta University, an M. Tech in Textile Technology from IIT Delhi, a PGDM equivalent to an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, and a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from IIT Bombay.
During his tenure as the first Dean (Alumni & External Relationships) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) from August 2010 to June 2012, he pioneered innovative approaches to alumni engagement and forged valuable alliances with industry stakeholders, strengthening the institution's bonds with its vast network of graduates.
Prof Ghosh has also contributed as the Visiting/Guest Faculty at premier institutions such as IIMA, NITIE, EDII, NID, IIM Jammu, and IIM Ranchi. He has authored the book "Strategies for Growth," published by Random House India in 2010 as part of the IIMA Business Book Series during the Golden Jubilee Celebration of IIMA.
