Ms. Charece Williams Gee is the senior director and head of sport marketing at Under Armour. In her first few months at Under Armour, Charece made waves in the collegiate basketball world through the creation of the innovative shirzee (shirt jersey). Developed for the NCAA Champion South Carolina Women’s Basketball Team, this innovation made UA the first major sport apparel company to sign individual licensing deals for each player of an entire NCAA team during this NIL era.
Prior to this, she was the Brand Director, Consumer and Entertainment Marketing at PepsiCo. While at PepsiCo, she was responsible for the first change in 30 years of the NBA 3-point competition when in 2020, she created the Mountain Dew Zone, a deep shot worth 3 points, making the competition the most exciting event during All-Star Saturday Night.
Sport Illustrated profiled Ms. Gee in their Top 100 Black Women in Sports in 2022. Additionally, Forbes labeled her as a trailblazer who uses her Superpowers to empower women in sports and in 2021, she was included in the Crain’s New York, Best of Marketing & PR list.
