Jio Institute hosted Mr. Zoheb Zubair for the first industry expert session for the Batch of 2026. The session focused on “Digital Transformation of the Future.” Zoheb currently leads the strategic BFSI portfolio for Razorpay in the western region. He works with SMEs, mid-market companies, large enterprises, banks, and financial institutions to implement digital transformation through the use of AI, automation, and payment solutions. With over 17 years of experience across revenue functions, Zoheb has worked on projects related to business growth, profitability, and improving client experiences in the financial services sector.
In a session, Zoheb offered insights into the evolving fintech landscape and the transformative power of AI. He emphasized the pervasiveness of AI in modern financial services and spoke about the urgent need for AI fluency. Urging students to become “AI native,” he encouraged them to imbibe an algorithmic way of thinking, one that allows them to approach business problems through the lens of technology and logic. He also shared how he joined Razorpay, describing the professional decisions that led to his current role and highlighting how his work has evolved in the context of digital transformation.
