Mr. Dominic D’Souza is a legal professional with over two decades of experience and expertise primarily in the Media & Entertainment industry. Mr. D’Souza is presently the Group Head Legal (Consultant) – Balaji Telefilms (Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Balaji) and Vice Chair at the Indian National Association of Legal Professionals.
He has more than two decades of inter-alia media related experience, being associated at various levels with several national and international production houses, broadcast channels such as STAR, Disney, ZEE, UTV, Hinduja Ventures Ltd to name a few. In recognition of his contribution in the field of IP, the World Intellectual Property Forum has recognized him as one of the ‘Best Leading Lawyer 2022’ who have built a successful career in legal.
Mr. D’Souza has often been considered a source of authority and reference to Indian governmental bodies and industry trade bodies in the media, IP, the broadcasting and telecom regulatory sectors. He is also by way of knowledge share associated with various educational institutions and has been part of various National and APAC IPR summits and conferences.
