Middle Leader Programme : Inauguration & Day 1

Jio Institute and the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS) launched the Middle Leader Programme for K-12 Educators. The program, designed for experienced teachers and coordinators, attracted 63 participants from a diverse range of schools and boards across India. The program was held at the Jio Institute Ulwe Campus.

The Middle Leader Programme, in collaboration with ECIS officially kicked off with a vibrant opening ceremony. Dr Palak Sheth, Project Director, set the tone with welcoming remarks, followed by inspiring addresses from Mr Abhimanyu Basu, Dean and CEO of the Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mr V P Joy, Sr. Executive Vice President of Reliance Industries, and Ms Vanita Sharma, Advisor at Reliance Foundation Schools. Each speaker emphasized the importance of leadership and collaboration setting the stage for an enriching learning experience. Ms Sarah Kupke and Ms Helen Morgan from ECIS then provided a comprehensive course overview, outlining the programme's schedule.

The sessions on Day 1 addressed the making of highly effective teams, key components of successful team development and the creation of teams focused on student learning.
