Ajinkya Bhave is Director and Country Head (India) at Siemens Engineering Services, where he leads multiple teams in the areas of control systems and machine learning, multi-physics simulation, and computational fluid dynamics. Ajinkya has a Ph.D. in Systems and Control, an M.S. in Robotics, and an M.S. in ECE, all from Carnegie Mellon University. Ajinkya was research faculty at Carnegie Mellon before joining Siemens, as well as being a founding member of the Robotics Research Centre at IIIT Hyderabad in India. He is also a recipient of the NASA Group Achievement Award for the “Spaceward Bound 2006 Expedition: Chile”, as a member of autonomous rover team from Carnegie Mellon. At Siemens, Ajinkya has managed multiple R&D projects in the areas of autonomous driving, machine learning, and automotive control. He is also the recipient of the Siemens STS Innovation Award in 2019 for his contributions to innovations in machine learning across multiple applications
