Dr.Nilay Yajnik is a  Ph.D. in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai , Master of Management Studies from NMIMS (University of Mumbai) and Master of Science (Technology ) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani.. He has over 13 years of experience in the  Industry with companies such as Asian Paints , Wipro Infotech ,  Digital-HP and Mastek in areas spanning Program Management , Learning Services and Business Development. He also has around 30 years of teaching experience at NMIMS Mumbai , IIT Bombay , BITS Pilani. He also has Academic Leadership experience and has served as the Provost and Vice Chancellor of a leading University in Gujarat , India. His teaching and research interests include Innovation Management , Information Systems Applications in Industry,  Education and Society  , IT Strategy , Design Thinking for Management . He has also mentored technology start ups and has served on the Advisory Boards of several organizations.


Dr.Nilay Yajnik is a recipient of several awards including the Higher Education Forum “Outstanding Contribution to Teaching Award” , NMIMS Best Teacher Award , The Dewang Mehta “Best Teacher in IT”Award , AIMS International “Distinguished Service Award” , Computer Society of India Award for contribution to the student community and the Indian Society for Training and Development Second Best Paper Award. Dr.Nilay Yajnik has several publications to his credit at the National and International level. He has also served on the Editorial Boards of several International Journals.


Dr.Nilay Yajnik is a Corporate trainer and has served on the Executive Committee of the Bombay Management Association , the Digital Technology Committee of the Indian Merchants Chamber and the Higher Education Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry. Dr.Nilay Yajnik is an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School's Global Colloquium on Participant Centered Learning, Boston USA.
